  "I met Roberta through work and we became friends easily. There was so much to respect about her along with all she accomplished through her work. She spoke very highly about her family, she loved her home and maintained it immaculately and really cared about her neighbourhood. Along with her love of Josh, Roberta made sure the strays were fed as well. The odd neighbourhood pet knew this and had a good feed or two I'm sure. My fondest memory of Roberta is her relaxing in a hammock on my deck all wrapped in a blanket enjoying a warm summer breeze. Roberta truly was one in a million."

With her knowledge, intelligence, witty sense of humor and rapport with people I always felt that she would be irreplaceable in her position...and I still believe that. She was zany and compassionate - a truly extra-ordinary person who lived a very humble modest life. And yes she adored her sister who became a doctor! She was so proud of her and we often spoke about her. She was a family person through and through -always telling us about her mom or other family! She will be deeply missed there is NO DOUBT. She was the connect and the calm for MANY people on Selkirk Avenue! You may be gone physically but I have no doubt your spirit is around us Roberta! My thoughts are with her family and friends. "
